Wreath Card

Hello Everyone...

Can't believe that Christmas in a week... wow it has gone by so fast.
I am so excited for Christmas and can't wait to see my daughter's faces when they get to open their shared gift... yes I got them a Mini Cricut Cake for Christmas. I am passing on my addiction to them. Hahaha!!!!!
They have been wanting one for a while now and I couldn't pass it up.
And hubby got me a Imagine for Christmas and some cartridges too. I am so excited.

Well my fixed gypsy came home on Friday, yay!!!
It took me a while to get it all sync'd and ready to start to play with. But it was worth every minute of it. Last night I was able to finally get some time to sit down and play with it and designing.
So here is my little Christmas Card that I designed and made last night. I love how it came out.

I used George & Basic Shapes and Christmas Solutions.
I love how this card turned out and looking forward to sending these out to my friends and family...

And boy did I miss my Gypsy and happy that it is home and I can get creating again ...

I am thinking I might do a video on this card for the new year.
I have a lot of exciting things happening for the new year and can't wait to share it with everyone... So watch for some new and exciting things coming in 2012...

Well off to do some more wrapping and card making... have a great day everyone...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Happy Crafting!

Ribbon and Rosettes Cartridge

Hello Everyone and hope you are all enjoying your cyber shopping today. I know I did. I got a new Mini Cake Cricut for my daughter's for Christmas and I also bought myself a new cartridge..

On Saturday hubby told me he wanted to take me to Michael's, he told me that they had cartridges on sale. So we went to the new Michael's that just opened last month. They had two of the cartridges that I have been wanting, so I got them... well when we got up to the checkout the girl says to me that I get a free cartridge with the purchase of two cartridges yay me... I had bought Ribbon & Rosettes and Flower Shoppe and they gave me Jubilee for free... what a great deal.

So for the past couple of days I have been playing with the two new cartridges. I do have to say I am adding them to my favorites now...

Here is what I have done...

I have made a few more flowers  just haven't taken any pictures of them yet. I will take pictures and post them later...
On the Snowflake Rosette I used " Winter Lace" for the snowflake.. I see me make more of them in my near future. I love snowflakes and snowmen. I am going to make one with a snowman next ...

The snowflake rosette we are going to use that size on the tree this year.

Here is how I made it:

Cartridges:
Ribbon & Rosettes
George & Basic Shapes
Winter Lace

Cut 3 scallop @ 1 1/2" light blue
Cut 3 scallop@ 1 1/2" White
Cut 2 circles from George @ 3/4"

11/24 Theme Day Thursday

THEME DAY THURSDAY
I know this is late, but I got all caught up in yesterday and forgot to get this posted.. I am so sorry!

Hope you all will stop on over at My Cricut Craftroom and check out all the wonderful projects.

I made this adorable Scrapbook Layout..

I used George & Basic Shapes, Straight from the Nest, and Paper Doll Dress Ups

George & Basic Shapes:
Cut 3 Round Corner Squares @ 3 1/2" and 3 @ 3"

Straight from the Nest:
Cut Leaves (button: Layer/Shadow Shift) @ 4", 3 3/4", 5" and 3 1/2"

Paper Doll Dress Ups:
Boy/Girl Pilgrim @ 4"

I used brown stamp pad to ink around the edges of the leaves to give it that natural look.

I had alot fun making this page, it is my first Thanksgiving Layout that I made and I can't wait to add pictures of my family and friends that I am so thankful to have in my life.

We had a wonderful day filled with love, laughter and life.

The other thing that I most thankful for is the ability to help others no matter what time it is or what day of the week it is.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Hope all had a wonderful time with Family and Friends.

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you all again...

Christmas Gift Tags

I am working on a few things for the holidays.
I was thinking sometimes we just have gifts that just need a cute little tag instead of all the wrapping paper... so I thought this would be great for those gifts..
Here are a few that I came up with

I embossed the snowflake with white embossing and I love how it turned out. I used a few different cartridges for these tags...
Cartridges Used:
Snowflake and Winter Hat : Winter Woodland
Base of the of the Tag : Cindy Loo
Second layer and third layer : George and Basic Shapes
I used my gypsy to make them all.

Here is a cute little card that I made using Jolly Holidays Cartridge.
I made this a little like the easel card that I make.

Card base is basic 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and then the top is folded in half again...
I think this is the cutest card.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for today. Check back often for new projects and some instructions.
I am hoping I will be able to make my first video soon.... Things are settling down around here now and I would like to have a video done shortly... I am working on what I would like to make the first video on.. I am thinking maybe this adorable easel card ...

Happy Crafting Everyone! Have a Wonderful Day!

More Cards

Wow what a day. Earthquakes and now watching hurricane Irene moving on in. We are tracking this Hurricane. It is looking like we are going to be getting hit with it over this coming weekend. Over the next few days we are going to be getting things together just in case and make sure we have lots of batteries, candles and etc.

Today I was trying to work on some cards. I did this cute little Autumn themed one today and yesterday I made this cute Christmas one. I love them both and can’t wait to make some more tomorrow. One is a Easel card and the other is a double card fold one. I love the looks of both of them.

Autumn Card, I used Happy Hauntings and Straight From the Nest
Christmas Card, I used Jolly Holidays, Christmas, Once Upone a Princess and George and Basic Shapes.

I would like send my thoughts and prayers out to everyone that was affected by the Earthquake today and everyone that is in the path of Hurricane Irene… Be safe!

Happy Crafting Everyone!!!!
