Fall Blocks

Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
We had a fun filled weekend.
Yesterday I took my daughters trick or treating on Main St in Danielson. They loved it and had so much fun. The weather was beautiful for the event.

My daughters are going out as Monster High Girls. They were so cute.

Today I decided that it would be a good day to get some crafting and creating done. I stayed in the Craft Room all day and finished up Mackenzie's Treats for school this week.

I made 21 of the sour cream container treat holders for her class plus tags. I did not have enough Halloween Paper so we made our own with stamps and matching ink. I like how they turned out. I will post a better picture of them tomorrow.

When I was finished with her treats, I thought it would be nice to make some thing for our decorations for the Season.
Here is what I created.

I used three cartridges and my gypsy to create these boxes.

CTMH Artbooking
CTMH Art Philosophy
CTMH Artiste

I used Chocolate Ink Pad and inked all the edges on the boxes, mats, letters and leaves. I really love how they turned out and I even added a string on top of each box so I can hang them in my door way if I want too or set them on a shelf.

Well it is time for me to go and relax with my daughters and settle them down for the night.
Have a good night everyone....

11/24 Theme Day Thursday

THEME DAY THURSDAY
I know this is late, but I got all caught up in yesterday and forgot to get this posted.. I am so sorry!

Hope you all will stop on over at My Cricut Craftroom and check out all the wonderful projects.

I made this adorable Scrapbook Layout..

I used George & Basic Shapes, Straight from the Nest, and Paper Doll Dress Ups

George & Basic Shapes:
Cut 3 Round Corner Squares @ 3 1/2" and 3 @ 3"

Straight from the Nest:
Cut Leaves (button: Layer/Shadow Shift) @ 4", 3 3/4", 5" and 3 1/2"

Paper Doll Dress Ups:
Boy/Girl Pilgrim @ 4"

I used brown stamp pad to ink around the edges of the leaves to give it that natural look.

I had alot fun making this page, it is my first Thanksgiving Layout that I made and I can't wait to add pictures of my family and friends that I am so thankful to have in my life.

We had a wonderful day filled with love, laughter and life.

The other thing that I most thankful for is the ability to help others no matter what time it is or what day of the week it is.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Hope all had a wonderful time with Family and Friends.

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you all again...

Turkey Table Decoration

Turkey Table Decoration

I found this idea on Cricut Chirp Newsletter today and I thought it was just too cute. I revised it a little bit. But it is such a great and adorable idea.

Here is how I made my version

Create A Critter Cartridge
Turkey cut at 6 1/2" the second turkey is revised cut
Leaves cut at 3" each

Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge
Popcorn Container cut at 6 1/2" ( I used the Gyspy to cut the container)

You can use these for little flower arrangements, candy or whatever you can think of. I am thinking of making another one and using one for flowers and one for candy...

if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.

I also cut out larger Turkeys and put them up on my door and cabinets... these are so cute.

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you all again...

Happy Crafting Everyone!!!!

Getting Ready Thanksgiving

Starting to get things ready for Thanksgiving around the house today and this past weekend...
I have been having the girls help make little decorations for Thanksgiving...
Thanksgiving around here is a little stressful than normal. We have so much that goes on Thanksgiving Day, so I try to do little things leading up to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving our High School Sponors a Turkey dip, and usually the High School has a football game too and then I am on Ambulance Duty that night. I usually make a few extra desserts and take them to the Ambulance for my crew.

This year we are making decorations to hang up and have on the table.
Well so far this is what we have done.

I used Simply Charmed Cartridge to make these adorable turkeys... I think they are so cute...

The ones hanging of the leave garland is cut at 5 1/2" and the ones on the cabinets are cut at 4 1/2" ...

I hope you all enjoyed my little project that I did with my daughter's tonight we are going to make some more....

Well check back tomorrow and see what my project is. Tomorrow is " Would You Guess Wednesday" over at http://www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/
So stop on by and check out all the great projects that are created just using the Feature Keys ...
