My Other Hobby

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to share a few pictures today with everyone of another one of my most favorite hobbies that I have not done in a long time. 

I have found photography to be very relaxing and calming. 

I love to drive around on the back roads and take scenery photos. 

But yesterday I was heading to Joann's and I was thinking how nice it would be to take my oldest daughter to a place I used to go when I was younger and just sit for hours and read. 

So we headed to the Norwich Rose Garden. 

My daughter loved it there and she saw how beautiful and peaceful it is there... she wishes that we lived closer to the Rose Garden...

I loved my day with my oldest daughter and it was fun taking her shopping with me. 

Cameo Project

Good Morning Everyone... 

I know it has a been a while since I have posted, it has been a bit crazy around here with my work schedule and kids getting out of school for the summer. And now my brother is in the hospital... 

Well last week I pulled out the cameo and was playing with it. 

I wanted to make something up for 4th of July and get some decorations made up for it... 

So I decide to make some of these fast and easy lanterns and then I saw these 3D stars and thought those were too cute. At first I was thinking o boy those are going to be interesting to make and hard. But I was like well I have to at least try them... well guess what I found out that they are not hard to make at all and they are quick and fun to make.... 

So here is what I came up with for my walkway to the craft room and today I am going to making some more for around the house.

DT Weekly Challenge Flag Day Theme

Welcome to the DT's Weekly Challenge 

This is our first week back at creating as a team and I am so excited.. we are still looking to add a few new members to the team so if you are interested please email me and I will send you all the information to try out for the team.

I have to say the team all did a wonderful job at it. I am still currently adding the finally touches to my project cause I am running a bit behind..

My Project... 

I decided that today i was going to play with my cameo and create some decorations for my house. I made this adorable lanterns to hang up in my walk way ... 

I used a big pattern stamp to decorate the white lantern to add some pattern to it. 

I also made these 3d Star to go with them... 

I really love how quick and simple these were to make
