Wall Decor Vinyl

Today I decided that I was going to play with some Vinyl for my walls. I started with making a few tinkerbell wall decals for my younger daughter's room.
Supplies that I used were:
12"x24" Cricut Vinyl
Transfer Tape
Cricut and Tinker and Friends Cartridge
Gypsy
12"x24" Cutting Mat

Cricut Settings:
Blade: 6
Speed: 3-4
Pressure: 2 ( this will not cut threw the backing of the vinyl)

I made mine images approx 10", but you can make them whatever size you would, but using the tinker and friends cartridge I would make them smaller than 5". I used the Filigree Key design for these wall decors.

I made this one for my bathroom over my tub... My daughter's laughed at me when we were putting it up. My 7 year old went and started to see if she could find 5 cents so she could take a bath tonight ... haha.

Tomorrow I am going to try my hand at glass etching.. .I bought a couple jars at Michael's Craft Store today, and I am going to use them tomorrow. I will post pictures tomorrow

Crafting Weekend

I haven't really worked on anything this past week, still unwinding from last weekend. So today I think I am going to work on a few things for the ambulance scrapbook and then a couple more pages for my scrapbook.

I wanted to try to work on my first video this weekend. But I am thinking of what I want to do for my first video. And I think we need to get a smaller tripod too for my desk.

I will also be working on organizing my work room, so I will be able to find things easier ... I just do too many different crafts and etc...

I will post pictures later of stuff that i do work on today...

Back Home from Conference

We came home yesterday from our EMS Conference it was packed full of information and fun. It was nice to get away and relax a little bit. I missed my girls though, wish that we would have taken them with us, but maybe next year we will.

This is Our Thursday Night Crew on the Ambulance. Myself, John and Kate.
I have ran with John for 2 1/2 yrs and have been running with Kate now for the past 4 months.

Here is John and his girlfriend Debbie and My husband and myself.
This was the last night at the conference before the Conference Banquet.

It was a such a wonderful time and enjoyed all the lectures that we took.

Well today it is snowing here and I am thinking of things that I would like to start working on. Yesterday when we came home I was playing with my gypsy and did an eeyore from my Pooh and Friends cartridge just to play with it and have some fun. I will post a picture later of the one that I did. I think that is what I am going to do today is play with the Pooh and friends on my cricut. I want to do a few layered vinyl cuts with it and put them on my daughter's walls for them and I also want to play with the Tinker and friends too.

I also have to go and get some of the pictures printed from this weekend.. and start working on my ambulance scrapbook. Hubby wants me to start my EMS scrapbook for myself and do it separate from our family and friends albums. It is my achievement book as my girls told me. I thought it was a great idea and then I can always look back at everything that I have achieved during my time in the Fire and EMS . I have my mom finding me pictures of my dad and brother when they started in the field about 20+ years ago and add those to my book, because they are the reason why I have after all these years chosen this path in my life.

Well enough of me rambling on, it is time for me to work and play now...
Have a great day everyone !

If you would all like to share what you are working on to celebrate spring please do, would love to see what everyone is working on.

My Puppy's Scrapbook Page

This page I was having issues with but in the end I love how it turned out... and I added some bling to it cause she is a princess and she deserves all the bling that I can give it. She was diagnosed a month ago with seizures and we did not think she was going to make it. They thought it was her liver and that she was going to need major surgery and the odds were against her making it through the surgery, but thanks to alot of prayers and blessings from above... it was not her liver and she is just got regular seizures and will be with us for a very long time. She is my little baby. She only weighs 3 lbs now.. she won't get much bigger ...

Another Page... yay!

Here is another page, I am on a roll today .. this one I played with a little bit more, I added some ribbon to it and made the little pumpkins pop a little bit off the page..

I did not add any desciption on this page cause it goes with the page before... so no journaling on this one..

Catching up on Scrapbooking

My plan today is to get some of my scrapbooking caught up. I have already done one page, now thinking of what i want to do on the next one.
This I cut out some leaves and used my gypsy to weld the letters together for "Fall" and I had typed up the description in word and printed it out on some natural colored card stock using green for the writing... Something so simple can add so much to a page...
I love how this page came out...

Lazy Monday

Today has been lazy day again. I ordered some pictures to be printed and then I finally went to Michael's and got some papers that I needed to do a few more scrapbook pages. Now trying to think which ones I want to start with yay... I am so behind on my scrapbook and getting photos printed ... wow didn't realize how behind I was today until I went through my computer and my back up harddrive...

Well I am just going to get a coffee and sit and look at the pictures and wait and see which ones jump out at me ...
