Sorry I have been gone

Hello everyone sorry I have been gone for so long. But I have a lot of things happening in my life with my family and especially with my children since the end of last month.
It has been very emotional and stressful for the past month for my daughters and my family.
Something happened that no one would ever image would happen to one of their children and by someone that is part of the family. Everyone is well now and we are just going through alot of healing and trying to get on with our lives now.

I am thankful for my children and I would not know what I would do with out any of them. Each one of them are their own person and each one brings so much to my life.

I would like to say I am so proud of my oldest daughter for standing up and trying to do what she needed to do to protect her younger sisters and I am so blessed to have her as my daughter.
If it wasn't for her my 7 year old would not be a live today. Thank you Kate-Lyn, you are my hero and you are such a brave girl. I love you!

This morning my daughters looked at me and asked me when I was going to go and relax. They reassured me that they are alright and they need me to be who I was a few weeks ago. So I told them that I now know that they are safe and alive I will start to get back to being who I was before all of this happened.
So today I am sitting in the craft room and I am looking through things that I need to work on a get back to be my creative self.

Today I am going to work on some cards for each one of my daughters to tell them how each one of them are so special to me and what they have brought to my life....

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful thoughts and prayers and the support that you all have given me during this very emotional and traumativing situation... I am so blessed to have family and friends like you all in my life...

Well time to get Crafting!

Happy Crafting everyone! Have a wonderful day.

  1. Audrey, I have been reading your updates onFB & can't even begin to imagine what you & the girls have been through...After you hug your family, I hope that you will take some time for yourself!! :)

  2. I hop you post the cards you make for your daughters. I am so sorry to hear of your difficult time. When the kiddoes get involved it really effects you more than anything in the world. There are new depths of hurt and pain like we never knew were there. Even the 'almost' events rock our world... My Daughter is a true blessing and I never should have had her (15 miscarriages) she is a GIFT from GOD and I thank him for her everyday. Enjoy everyday, every hug and every kiss. They make us happy and make us 'ourself' what are we without them, right?

  3. When we go though the tough times and come out the other side, we are bruised and shocked but so much wiser when we learn from what has happened. Our family had a difficult summer but as women and mothers we are nurturers and protectors of our family and we don't rest until we are sure things are OK.
    I have found my scraping and crafting to be a good way for me to destress and get myself centered. Hope you find your time with your scrappy stuff to be as comforting!
    Thank-you for sharing! {Hugs}
