"Back To School" Blog Hop

Welcome to Our First Blog Hop

It is a small one, but some really wonderful projects. I would like to say "Thank You" to everyone that shared their talents and to everyone for coming to hop with us.

Here is my "Back To School" Project.
This was designed using the gypsy and combined with 4 cartridges
Locker Talk
Designers Calendar
Kate's ABC's
George and Basic Shapes

I designed this LO for my youngest daughter, who is starting Kindergarten this coming school year. I wanted something to mark her first day of school that was special to her so she helped pick out the colors for her LO.

I had so much designing and making this LO using my gypsy, this is the first LO that I have created fully using the gypsy.
Thank you for stopping by and now it is off to the rest of the hop you will now go to:

Thank you again for hopping with us and I hope that you enjoy all the projects and talents each one has brought to this hop.
Happy Crafting!!!!

Crazy and Hot

It has been crazy around here lately.. my mom has been staying with us since she got released from the rehab after her surgery on her hip and today we got to start moving her into her new apartment. She is excited and nervous to be back in her own place.

I am hoping now that some of the craziness is going to calm down maybe I will be able to get into the work room and get some things done in there.. We are still working on the plans of redoing the work room and now we can get some more time to focus on it.

I am working on some Tutorials and will be posting the shortly. We are trying to set up an area for video taping right now, so be on the watch for videos ..

Well it is time to go watch T.V. with the girls and then early bed time ..

My Pink Stamper Design Team Challenge

I love My Pink Stamper and I am so excited about having a catch to be part of her Design Team.
These is a Scrapbook Page that I worked on for this challenge and I had so much fun trying to get all the colors and get them to work together.

I used:
Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge
Blue Waves~Surf's Up by My Mind Eye Cardstock
Rich Ribbon~ Grandma's Cardstock
Other Cardstocks: orange, brown, beige, turquoise, green, flesh tone
Black Ink Pad
Brown Ink Pad
Printer (to printer journaling)

I cut the dolls, chairs, umbrella @ 3 1/2 inches
I cut the pail and shovel @ 4" inches
The sand for the chairs and pails were cut free hand .

I used card stock behind each one of the pictures to add a little more color and texture to the page.

Thank you for stopping by and seeing my Enter for the Challenge.
I would love to be apart of My Pink Stamper Design Team... she has been a great motivation in some of my creations and I have learned alot from her and I continue to try new things .

Thank you for this opportunity .

Good Luck everyone...

Graduation Party

Yesterday we had a great time at my daughter's graduation party.
Everyone loved the cupcakes. My mother in law made some awesome cake pops for me and they were a big hit at the party... everyone loved them. My daughter enjoyed seeing family that she hasn't seen in a long time and meeting new friends too....
But the best part was that my mom had come home from the Rehab Center just in time for her party and was there to Celebrate it with her...

Well today I am hoping now to get back in the workroom and get working on some back to school projects and maybe a few more Christmas Cards and get a stock pile ready....

Just also wanted to remind everyone that I am trying to put together a " Back To School" Blog Hop if you want to be included let me know...

Well off to get started on my day. Have a great day everyone

Back to School Blog Hop

I am trying to set up a "Back To School" Blog Hop...
It would be my first one that I am setting up.. Anyone interested in doing it.. Anything Back to School theme.

If you are interested let me know..
Due date would be July 30th...

Just something fun...

Daughter's Graduation Party Stuff

I have been trying to finish up making the stuff for my daughter's 8th grade Grad Party this weekend... I love how the center piece came out.. We only need it for the main table.. cause we are having a pool party so we are not setting up alot of tables.

I also made pokers for the cupcakes and now I am working on 2 smaller center pieces to go on the sides of the main table... .

She chose to do the entering high school colors for her theme, which makes me feel like I am doing stuff for halloween...

I used Locker Talk for the graduation caps and I really like how they went together and I enjoyed making these for my daughter and I have already been looking at other things that this cartridge is going to be good for... I have one daughter entering high school, one second grade and one just starting kindergarten... so I am going to be using this cartridge alot ...

Jul 3, 2011

It has been crazy around here, everyone trying to adjust to school being out and trying to get in a routine. We are still not on a routine yet.
This weekend we are really not doing much.. had a small cookout at my son's yesterday and then today just kind let the kids play outside and relaxed. Tomorrow another cookout and then hopefully going to be able to go and see my mom... She is doing much better and we are doing all the stuff to get ready to bring her home. I can't wait to have her home.
The next couple of weeks are going to be crazy, we are going to be moving my mom, getting ready for my oldest daughter's graduation party.

I am hoping to be able to post some pictures of the stuff for daughter's party this week...

Happy 4th to everyone, have a wonderful weekend and be safe...
