Feeling Better

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas here other than me being sick since Sunday. I am feeling much better today, I am actually able to get out of bed and get some things done in the craft room.

Santa and My daughters brought me two wonderful gifts, one I think is a little hint for me to get crafting with my girls though
Santa brought me a new stand to organize some of my papers and a Cricut Mini ( I think that Mini was the hint

I was hoping the stand would have held my 12x12 card stock in the baskets but it doesn't, but it is ok. I was able to put it on the shelf above the drawers.

Christmas Mini Album Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of my Christmas Mini Album

It is coming along great. I have had fun designing each page as it comes

Page 6:

This is a very simple page cause of the pattern paper that I used on the page to cover it, I did not want to take away from it.
So I made a place for a small picture to be added
Cut 2 mats
1 @ 2 1/4"
1 @ 2
and added it to the upper corner.

I love this page... it might be the most simplest page but the pattern paper adds to it.

Page 7:

I cut a piece of pattern to fit the page width way, then cut it angle, used one of my punches and punched the edge. Added adhesive to two sides to leave the punched side open to use as a pocket.
Cut a Snow flake and 2 shadows out @ 4 1/4"
to place inside the pocket. I am going to add another tag or snowflake to the pocket for more pictures.

This Mini Album is coming together so nicely and I am loving it.
I am using only Cricut Artiste Cartridge for all the cuts and I am in love with this Cartridge.
Last night I went to Michael's to see what I could find for some more embellishments and picked up a few things for the pages.
I was loving Michael's last night they had almost all the Christmas embellishments on sale and I got good deals on a lot of it.

You can stop by my CTMH website and pick up your Cricut Artiste Cartridge Bundle and start enjoying all the possiblities of creating with it.

Christmas Mini Album Day 2

Good Morning and Welcome

Christmas Mini Album Day 2 using Cricut Artiste Cartridge from Close To My Heart

I am having alot of fun making this Mini Album and Sharing the Process with you all.

Here is Page 4:

Card Cut @ 3" Page 32 in the handbook
Cut the matching envelope @3
Cut mat (front of Card, inside and back) at 2 1/2"
Inked all the edges of the card and envelope
added a tiny piece of velcro to the envelope flap and base to keep it closed

Put adhesive on 3 sides of the envelope so the top would be open to add some tags for more journaling or photos.

Tags (page 33) cut at 3 3/4

Stamped with Chocolate ink an ornament on the flap of the envelope.

Tags are double sided, I cut out 2 to make the tags double sided.

Insert Page:

I was playing with a piece of Clear cardstock
and Staz on Ink and thought this would be great to add to the Mini
album

Christmas Mini Album Day 1

Hello and Welcome

I am working on a cute little album for Christmas and to celebrate me getting back with Close To My Heart as a consultant.
From now until Christmas Eve I will be posting my progress with the album.
It is going to be six pages

So here is Day 1 of My Mini Album Using Artiste Cartridge.

I cut all the pages out of Chip board that I purchased at Michael's.
I cut the pages at 5" one of each page, they can be found on page 60 of the handbook.
Then i cut the papers to cover each page at the same size from my paper pad that I also purchased at Michael's, 6x6 paper pad " Holly Day Wishes" by Recollections.

I love this is paper and wish I could have found more of it

Here are the pages covered

Papers lined up perfectly with the Chipboard cut outs

I started with inking all the edges of the pages using CTMH ink pad Chocolate.
I loved the nice finished that it gives to the edges.

I wanted to something simple for the cover page.

Cover Page:
Cut beige @ 3 3/4"
Cut brown @ 3 1/2"
Ornament is cut at 3 1/4"
I punched a hole in the top of the ornament and added an eyelet and strung a piece of hemp through the top

I embossed the brown card stock using Tim Holtz Embossing Folder from " Christmas Background and Border Set"
I inked the edges of the mats and the ornament as well.

Page 2:
Simple Page

Cut 2 mats - 1 out of Beige @ 3 3/4" and 1 out of Dark Green @ 3 1/2"

Page 3:
Cut beige cardstock @ 6" x 3 1/4"
score in half to make a folder
Cut mat for the front @ 3" x 2 3/4"
Rounded the outer edges
add adhesive to only 3 sides to make a pocket to add some tags behind it for additional photos or journalling

Tags (Page 69 ) cut @ 2 1/2" covered one before cutting with the foil tape and then adhered them together after cutting
before putting them together I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink "Meadow" to stain the foil side of the tag.
Cut a second tag same size out twice and glued together.
Added hemp to the tags
on the second tag I added an eyelet before adding the hemp.

Cut mitten (Page 79) @ 2 1/2"
inked the edges and added a off white pearl to the center of the snowflake on the mitten.

On the folder I added some stitch lines around the edges on the outside and inside and on the cuff of the mitten too
Also on the tags.

Well I am so glad to share this Mini Album with you all and hope you all enjoy my little projects.
My goal is to make this Mini Album using only this one cartridge, so I can show case how useful this one cartridge can be.

Make sure to stop by tomorrow and see the next couple of pages with how I made them.
When the album is complete I will make a video showing it completed.
