Fall Blocks

Happy Sunday!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
We had a fun filled weekend.
Yesterday I took my daughters trick or treating on Main St in Danielson. They loved it and had so much fun. The weather was beautiful for the event.

My daughters are going out as Monster High Girls. They were so cute.

Today I decided that it would be a good day to get some crafting and creating done. I stayed in the Craft Room all day and finished up Mackenzie's Treats for school this week.

I made 21 of the sour cream container treat holders for her class plus tags. I did not have enough Halloween Paper so we made our own with stamps and matching ink. I like how they turned out. I will post a better picture of them tomorrow.

When I was finished with her treats, I thought it would be nice to make some thing for our decorations for the Season.
Here is what I created.

I used three cartridges and my gypsy to create these boxes.

CTMH Artbooking
CTMH Art Philosophy
CTMH Artiste

I used Chocolate Ink Pad and inked all the edges on the boxes, mats, letters and leaves. I really love how they turned out and I even added a string on top of each box so I can hang them in my door way if I want too or set them on a shelf.

Well it is time for me to go and relax with my daughters and settle them down for the night.
Have a good night everyone....

Halloween M&M Slider Treat Holder

Happy Tuesday!

Today I got a day of alone time. Girls were in school  and hubby was at work.
I got to make it to the craft room without anyone in there with me and I was lost at first but then I was loving it. I decided that I needed to come up with something new for the M &M 's small bags that I bought to give out for Halloween.

I got playing with an idea for a slider holder... I love making them for the Hot Cocoa Packets that I had out at Christmas and thought this would be a fun project to do for the M & M's.

I used Create A Critter 2 for this project.
I used My Pink Stamper stamp set for the greeting.
I also used Peachy Keen Face Stamps for the Face, I love those face stamps.

As soon as I am over this cold that I have I am thinking that this project will be perfect for me to do a video on and share with everyone on how I made these adorable little treat holders...

well I am heading back to the craft room to make a few more of these cuties. I am going to hand them out to my daughter's dance instructors at the dance studio...

Happy Crafting Everyone!

Baby Mini Album Onesie

Good Morning and Happy Weekend Everyone!

I have been busy in my little Crafting Corner all week... I have been making up a few things and getting them listed on my Etsy Shop.

I have alot of Mini album ideas that I am going to be working on and can't wait to share them with you all.

I have been thinking of doing a videos of after I finish the mini albums and showing them off and maybe help give out some ideas to you.

Well my recent album I wanted something that was a shape other than the basic shapes so I found a Onesie shape and decided that would make an adorable album and cut it out and went from there. I have made a few samples of the cut in different sizes to see what ones would work the best and to my surprise they all would make some wonderful mini albums and be so much fun to make and give as gifts.

Here is the one that I completed and it is cut at 7" and it is from Life's a Party Cartridge.

I also used my B is for Boys Cartridge to make the little toy on the front of the onesie.
I tied a few pieces of ribbon on the rings.

These two pages I loved making them.
I cut out another onesie and then cut in half to make a pocket and cut some paper to make tags and then used a pin brad to hold them together.
On the yellow page I made a fold out mat to add more pictures inside of it and then popped it up so there are tags behind it for even more pictures or journaling.
I took some buttons and paper clips to use to hold the fold out closed and put buttons on the bottom like a real onesie.

These two pages are just very simple just mats to add larger photos to them.

the one page has another flip out album that can add two more pictures and there is a velcro closer on it to keep it closed. On the yellow one did the pocket again and put some tags in the pocket and kept together with a duck brad.

these two pages were fun too. another flip out mini album  and then a mat on the last page with a twine to hold two charms and two mini clothes pins.

I really had alot of fun making this Mini
Album and can't wait now to make a little girl one.

Well I hope you enjoyed my little project and stop back to see more of the projects.

Have a Great Weekend and Stay Safe.

OMG Been a Long Time

Wow it is has been a few months since I have updated my Blog... I am so sorry.
We have alot of family matters happening and trying to get through them all and get the girls back on track. Now with Summer Break here it is calming down a bit and the girls are outside more often playing and enjoying life.

I haven't been in the craft room since March or April, not really been motivated to be in there. But in the past few days I have been spending alot of time in there and getting back to creating again.

I have opened up a "New" Etsy Shop. Come on over and check it out. I am excited about this new adventure and looking forward to sharing again.

Click the link above and it will take you to my new shop.

This is a card that I did make back in May for a friends husband. I love how it turned out and it was my first time using a cartridge that I bought almost a year ago for my husband but never got a chance to use it for him.

My Daughter Mackenzie in March making a card for a class mate's birthday. She loved it, I gave her free range of the craft room. She had a blast.

Her finished card that she made. She used "Create A Critter 2" for this adorable lion card.  She was so proud of herself for making this card with little help from me.

Here are a few little projects that I have made of the past couple of days.

First is a Mini Album (Very simple)

Here are a few different Gift Card Holders

Here are a couple more, my favorite is the "I love you Latta" one...

It is feeling really good to be back to creating again.
I have missed it.

Well sorry for such a long post.

Remember to come by and check out my Etsy Shop today...

More Valentine Treats

Good Morning Everyone!

Last night it was very windy and loud around here. The winds woke up the girls last night and then we thought for a moment or two that we heard some thunder, unsure if we actually did or not.

These past couple of weeks I have been working on Valentine Treats for the Girls and their classmates. And then the past two days I figured I would also get the ones for their Daisy and Brownie Troops done too. But of course can't be the same that we are giving out at the school and then they wanted them to be different for each troop. So I have been having fun coming up with ideas of what I am going to do for them.
I enjoy crafting for my girls and their friends.

I have all the ones for school finished and Minnie's Brownie Troop ones are finished, today I am going to be working on Autumn's Daisy Troop Treats.

Here are the ones that I made for Mackenzie's Brownie troop

These are made using the Hershey Nugget Candies.

Omg they are so stinking cute and fun to make.
I have been asked to make a video on these and I will be working on the video this weekend with all the measurements and etc to make them.

Give  you an idea how big they really are ...

No machine needed to make these.

Now this is what I am came up with for Autumn's Daisy Troop

I did use the cricut to make these and I also used my punches that I have too.
I made something like these last year for my oldest daughter for her teachers at the high school. But this year I stepped it up a bit with the little banner coming off the side with Hugs stamped on it.

Here is how they are made:

Base cut at 2 1/4" x 6 1/2"
Scored at 2 1/2" and 4"
Print paper cut at 2"x2 1/4"
Scallop circle is from a punch (Stampin' Up) 1 3/4"
Pink circle used cricut and Art Philosophy Cartridge 1 1/2"
White Circle either use a 1" punch or you can cut the same circle above at 1"
Banner is from Art Philosophy cut at 1 1/2" too...
I popped up the white circle from the pink and then I popped up the scallop from the banner.

The Little heart stamp is from Close to My heart and the hug is from Creative Times
I used Chocolate Stamp Pad from Close To My Heart to stamp HUGS and I used one of the dollar bin inks from Michaels to do the heart.

I hope you have enjoyed my valentine treats and come back and check out the videos when they are finished.

Here is all the treats that I have done for my daughters this year.

Valentine Treats

Good Morning Everyone!
Hope everyone is staying warm today.. It is -3 today here...
and we are supposed to be getting another snow storm tomorrow.
I am going to get all my errands done today and then make a movie/craft day for the girls and me tomorrow if there is no school.

I have been working on the girls Valentine's for School and trying to get them done early for them and that way I am not rushing around the last minute to get them finished and delivered to the school.
I picked up some heart shaped lollipops and pencils for each one of the girls. I worked on a few different ideas and came up with these cute little treat holders.

I love how they turned out
I am going to make a video on these treat holders today or tomorrow. It will include all the instructions on how they are made

I used my new Cricut Mini and Gypsy to make the hearts.

I hope you enjoy this cute, quick and fun project and come back to check out the video.

Remember you still have time to get your valentine kit from Close to my heart with the purchase of $35 you can get the kit for $10 ... Stop by today and pick up your Kit and don't forget to get your stamp of the month set too...
