Schools Out

Friday was the last day of school for my girls. My oldest daughter graduated 8th Grade on Thursday. It has been a very busy last week of school for us. But I am so proud of my girls they passed and will be entering the next grade. My oldest daughter will be a freshmen, my middle daughter will be 2nd grade and my youngest will be starting Kindergarten.... I am going to be lost next year with no kids home ...

Well today I am working on the cupcake toppers and the center pieces for the my daughter's graduation party in 2 weeks.

Graduation Stuff

Working on some ideas for Daughter's 8th Grade Graduation Party.. we are making up some samples of Cake Pops and a few other things... we are also in the mist of changing some of the plans around~ we are changing the location and theme a little bit.

Here is my youngest daughter helping me get the cake mix ready...

She loves to help when the two older girls are not home... I am thinking she is going to be my baker when she gets older... she loves baking

Here is an update... Cake pops did not come out all that great... the girls like them but not the right mixture cake and frostening LOL... but they had fun making them with me ...

Organizing Workroom

Well today I am going to start organizing and cleaning the work room... We have to also start to get some measurements too. We are looking at putting a wood floor in the workroom now.. I am excited, I would rather have wood floor than carpet in my work room with all the stuff that I do in there, it would make it much easier to clean after I am finished. Also looking at what color we are going to paint the workroom too.

I also have to finish up a few more things for my daughter's graduation party too. She graduates on June 23 and we having her party July 9th... I still can't believe she will be in high school next year.. ugh where did the time go

Hot and Stormy

I haven't been able to work the past few days it has been to hot. Last night we had some Thunderstorms and this morning too.. they are now saying we are going to have thunderstorms on and off all day today, we have schools closing due to the heat as well.

But today I am going to try to get some EMS T-shirts done and maybe a few things for my daughter's Graduation Party...

The other night we had a Training Drill at the fire department and I was able to get some really nice Sky photos while we were there.. I love taking photographs of everything ..

Ok time for me to try to get some work done today and get a few new things made up ... Was going to try to make a video today, but thinking it might be a little hot so maybe tomorrow night I will make a video on the Gift Cards...

Getting Ready for Blog Hop Tonight

Hello everyone! I am just been trying to relax a little bit today and now I am finishing up a few things for the blog hop tonight from Cricut Craft Room... It should be fun...

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for their Cartridges that they are doing. I have the " Cricut American Alphabet" Cartridge, I already have one project done with it and now I am working on the second one and thinking of what I want to do for the third project...

Well watch for the info on the Blog Hop coming shortly.... it starts at 8pm tonight... 

Long Night

I haven't done anything today, cause I was at a Hospital in Mass last night with my mom. I recieved a call late last night to tell me that my mom was taken to a hospital there and that she fell and hurt her hip while she was at Bingo with my Sister in Law.

I got the hospital and found out that she was being admitted and being scheduled for surgery. She broke her right hip.

As of an hour ago she still hasn't had surgery. My mom is so upset and nervous right now and I can't seem to make her feel better.

So I would like to ask all my crafty friends a big favor...

I would like to cheer my mom up, so I am going to ask if you would could you make a card for her and I will take them to her at the hospital ... I think seeing all the handmade cards with well wishes and etc will cheer her up alot... She is going to have to go to a rehab after she is released from the Hospital and they are saying that could be up to 6 to 8 weeks there.

If you would be interested in doing this please send me an email and I will send you my address for the cards to be sent too... Thank you everyone...

Finished a Gift Card

I finished one of the Gift Card Holders yesterday... I really like how it turned out and can't wait until I finish the other 19.

So this is just a quick post for right now... I wanted to share the picture of the gift card.

I used the Cindy Loo Cartridge for the gift holder and cut it out at 6 1/2" and then I used the Once upon a princess to cut out the ice cream cone, just did not cut out the little face for it...
